Social Media Specialist

About Megarefill

Megarefill is a digital marketplace for gift cards, mobile top-ups and travel eSIMs. Since 2023 we have been building, from London, the simplest way to buy digital products online: customers in 190+ countries pay by card, Apple Pay or more than 20 cryptocurrencies and get their code, recharge or eSIM in seconds.

We also build our own mobile apps: Megaroam, a travel eSIM app for 200+ countries, and Megaconnect, which gives people a real UK +44 phone number on an eSIM.

About your team

You will join the Brand & Content team, which tells the story of Megarefill, Megaroam and Megaconnect to travellers, gamers, crypto users and families sending top-ups home.

You will own our social channels: planning the calendar, creating content, running campaigns and talking to our community every day. You will work closely with performance marketing and product on launches and deals.

Your toolkit

Channels

  • Instagram and TikTok

Creation

  • CapCut, Premiere or similar for short videos
  • Canva or Figma for graphics
  • AI tools for ideas and editing

Measurement

  • Native platform analytics
  • UTM links and campaign tracking
  • Monthly growth and engagement reports

What you’ll do

  • Plan and publish content for Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Telegram
  • Create short-form videos, reels and stories for our products, deals and campaigns
  • Run giveaways, influencer collaborations and referral campaigns
  • Reply to comments and messages and grow an active community
  • Follow trends and competitors, and turn them into content ideas quickly
  • Track growth and engagement and report what works each month

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of experience running social media for a brand or agency
  • A portfolio of content you created that performed well
  • Comfortable filming and editing short videos yourself
  • Great written English and a feel for internet culture and trends
  • Organised: you can keep a content calendar running on several channels

Nice to have

  • Interest in travel, gaming or crypto
  • Experience working with influencers or affiliates
  • Speaking other languages, which helps us create content for local audiences
